Momentum exists to make the human body genuinely understandable, not memorised, not oversimplified, but understood. The interactive atlas is free for everyone; the depth behind it is built to be trusted.
Why we exist
Anatomy is usually taught to be passed, not kept.
Most people meet anatomy as a wall of names to memorise for an exam, or as a diagram in a clinic they never really read. Momentum is built the other way around: start with a body you can explore, and let curiosity (“what is that, and why does it hurt?”) pull you into the detail. When you understand how a structure works, what it connects to, and what goes wrong with it, the knowledge stays.
Why anatomy matters
It's the map underneath everything else.
Movement, injury, recovery, training, pain: all of it sits on top of anatomy. A patient who understands why their shoulder refers pain down the arm, or an athlete who knows which muscle a movement actually loads, makes better decisions. Momentum treats anatomy as the foundation it is: one connected model you can navigate, rather than a stack of disconnected facts.
Evidence, honestly
We'd rather show our working than overstate it.
Scientific credibility is part of the product. Every record is written against established references and carries an honest review status, and we show that status plainly rather than hiding it. Today the library holds 852 records, drawing on 7 reference works, with 471 questions answered. No content category has completed independent clinical review. Records marked “verified”, our highest bar: 0. That zero is deliberate: no record is presented as verified until it has final sign-off, and the badge on every structure tells you exactly where it stands.

Our philosophy
Trust is the product.
We would rather ship less than mislead. No invented reviews, no fabricated statistics, no features dressed up as finished. The interactive body stays free because understanding your own anatomy shouldn't be behind a paywall; membership funds the depth and keeps the atlas open. Everything we build is meant to earn a place you'd defend to a clinician, an athlete, or a curious student alike.
