Antebrachium
In Review
The forearm runs from elbow to wrist on the radius and ulna, packed with two compartments of muscle: flexors on the palm side, extensors on the back. Almost every one of them is a remote control for the hand — the power of your grip is generated here, not in the fingers. People come to a therapist for the forearm because of aching and burning after long hours of typing, gripping or manual work, tightness that feeds elbow and wrist pain, and the tingling that comes when nerves are compressed on their way to the hand.
