Pectoralis minor TrP1

A small muscle under the pectoralis major with a large reach. The pectoralis minor runs from the front of the ribs up to the beak of bone at the front of the shoulder blade, and its points refer to the front of the shoulder and spill down the inner side of the arm to the ring and little fingers. That distribution is worth pausing on: it is the ulnar side of the arm and hand, and it can be felt as numbness and tingling as much as ache — the neurovascular bundle to the arm passes directly beneath this muscle. This is also the muscle the founder's system names by name on the TIGHT list and in the release step of its shoulder flow, so it is one of the few points in this file that the clinical model and the referral literature both single out.
