End-range joint excursion

In Review

Taking a joint all the way to the ends of the range it owns, rather than living in the comfortable middle of it. Joints keep the range you actually visit; a range you stop going to is a range that quietly closes, and the capsule stiffens around the arc you still use. Good looks like: regularly and confidently reaching the ends of a joint's motion, under control, without pain forcing you to stop short. The cost of avoiding end range is rarely paid by the stiff joint — it is paid by the joint above or below it, which has to make up the difference.
