Motor sequencing
In Review
The order your muscles fire in, and which one gets to lead. A movement is not just a set of muscles that are strong enough — it is a sequence, and when the muscle that should start the job is late, a muscle that should have assisted takes over and becomes dominant. That is what an imbalance actually is: not a strength problem, a timing problem. Good looks like: the right muscle leading, the assistants assisting, and the same pattern turning up whether you are thinking about it or not. It is also why stretching the tight side forever never settles it — the tight muscle is covering, and it will keep covering until something else is ready to do the job on time.
