Neck pain and stiffness
In Review
The head weighs about as much as a bowling ball, and it's meant to sit balanced on top of the neck — not out in front of it. Hours on a phone or a screen let it drift forward, and once it does, the deep neck flexors stop holding it and the surface muscles take over a job they were never designed to do all day. Add the low-grade clenching that stress brings, and the neck is working overtime from the moment you wake up. It's not a fragile neck; it's an unsupported one.
