Levator scapulae TrP2
In Review
The levator's other end. Where TrP1 sits up at the angle of the neck, this point sits at the bottom of the muscle, just above where it attaches to the top corner of the shoulder blade — and its referral is felt in the same territory: the angle of the neck and down the inner border of the scapula. It matters for one practical reason. A client who has had the neck end of this muscle worked and is still tender is often still holding the scapular end, because the two ends of a muscle can be released independently and the lower one is further from where the client points.
