Limited range of motion

In Review

Movement is medicine, and range is how much of it you have access to. Range is usually not lost in one moment — it is given away slowly, by never going to the end of it. Tissue shortens to the length you actually use and the joint capsule follows, and then the body borrows the motion from somewhere else, which is where the next problem starts.
