Hawkins-Kennedy test

A passive shoulder test for impingement. With the arm held forward and rotated inward, the greater tubercle of the upper arm bone is carried underneath the coracoacromial arch, narrowing the subacromial space where the rotator-cuff tendons and bursa sit. If those structures are irritated, compressing them reproduces the patient's familiar pain.
