Single-Leg Squat test
In Review
A movement screen rather than a pass/fail special test. Squatting on one leg asks the hip abductors and rotators, the quadriceps and the foot to control the whole limb at once, so how the movement falls apart is the useful information: the knee collapsing inward, the pelvis dropping, or the trunk leaning each point at a different link in the chain. It is observed and described, not scored as positive or negative.
