Superficial Front Line
In Review
A conceptual model, not a proven anatomical structure. The Superficial Front Line is described as running from the top of the toes up the shin and the front of the thigh, over the abdomen and chest, to the side of the skull — the counterbalance to the Back Line, flexing the trunk forward and resisting extension. It is a teaching and reasoning tool: the continuity is not consistently demonstrated by dissection, and its functional claims are expert opinion rather than trial evidence.
